As a sub-consultant to URS Greiner, EHI Consultants participated in the EIS for the new runway. EHI was responsible for data gathering on, land use, demographics, water quality, environmental and transportation conditions from which environmental impacts were to be compared. EHI prepared GIS-based digital maps; inventoried existing social, ethnic, and other interest groups in the affected area; and, created a description of the economic, physiographic and demographic trends. EHI worked closely with federal, state and local agencies and knowledgeable of state, local and federal regulations relating to transportation and environmental issues.
