Louisville Indiana Southern Ohio River Bridges Kennedy Interchange


EHI is involved in the redesign of the Downtown Louisville, Kentucky Interchange, where I-64 and I-65 and I-71 converge.

Features include:
  • A new interchange design at Mellwood Avenue and I-64
  • A new partial interchange at I-71 and Frankfort Avenue/Ohio Street
  • Witherspoon Street will be extended one mile to Frankfort Avenue/Ohio Street
 
Engineering tasks that EHI will be responsible for include:
  • Development of vertical highway alignment plans
  • Development of stormwater drainage plans
  • Development of maintenance of traffic plans
  • Traffic modeling plans
  • Profiles development
  • Bicycle path alignment plan
