EHI completed site development plan and assisted in the zone change process for a new bourbon distillery and experience for Brown Forman’s founding brand, Old Forester. The project is located in the Whiskey Row historic district in downtown Louisville, KY. The Old Forester Distillery will include fermentation, distilling, barrel making, doubling its current production of Old Forester. The facility will also include space for a restaurant, retail and will have tours as part of the overall bourbon experience.
EHI’s role in the projected was to facilitate a survey including boundaries and topography along Main and Washington Street in front of and behind the buildings to provide civil site work drawings for any improvements to the sidewalks, including any structure needed over the vaults in the sidewalks. These drawing were submitted as part of the necessary zone change submissions to Planning & Design.
